FarmVille: Crack Willow Tree buds from Mystery Seedlings

Of the two trees that leaked last night in FarmVille, one has already begun to sprout up from Mystery Seedlings. FarmVille Freak has found the Crack Willow in the little seedlings and predicts that it will reach the Market shortly thereafter. Like most of the items introduced since English Countryside hit, the Crack Willow is most commonly found in Europe, but more specifically along riverbeds. Its price is unknown at the moment, so enjoy the free Crack Willow Trees while they last.

FarmVille Mother's Day Special: Farm Cash 20 percent off this weekend

In honor of where you came from, Zynga is slashing prices on Farm Cash by 20 percent when you redeem a Zynga Game Card. If your mom is one of the many who appear to be so very addicted to FarmVille, why not just give her what she really wants: that shiny new Badger Ewe (when it finally releases). However, you'll have to pick up that Zynga Game Card and redeem it by 9 p.m. PST on May 8 to get that 20 percent discount. But as much as your mom must adore her collection of crop Mastery signs, be sure to give her something, you know, tangible? I hear a card and a bouquet of flowers can do wonders.

Have you already bought your mom a Mother's Day gift? Why not tell us about it in the comments (we won't tell)?

This animated spoof, 'Slaves of FarmVille,' might go too far [Video]

Just about everyone has one of these in their lives: a slave to FarmVille. Animation team New York Dragons might have taken that phrase a teeny, tiny bit too far in this video submitted to the ADA Sport web video competition, "Slaves of FarmVille." Let's just cut to the chase: the video attempts to humorously liken being a slave to FarmVille to, well, being a slave in the 19th century.

The surprisingly well animated clip follows Phyllis Johnson's (arguably hilarious) downward spiral into FarmVille addiction. The story takes a bit of a dark turn, however, when it's revealed that FarmVille's "master" looks like either Colonel Sanders or the classic representation of an 1800s plantation owner. We're going with the latter on this one.

Phyllis eventually escapes to an "Underground Railroad" ... and you can pretty much see where this is going. Granted, this video isn't blatantly offensive, but its allusions to the biggest scar on America's history that may be distasteful at best. Though, we're not sure whether including an Indian man was necessary at all. (However, nothing beats this little gem we found recently.) Check out the video below:
